Decision Making
Typically the ability to make decisions is assumed yet even mission critical organisations are now recognising the need to train their personnel in this vital skill. Participants will understand how decisions are made, the two decision types and how to defend and justify their decisions to those who may have no appreciation for the time critical, ever changing environment in which they were made. They will also understand how their clients go about making decisions and therefore be able to more strongly influence them if required.
The course will introduce participants to:
- Decision Process Model
- Decision Types
- Decision Environment
- Decision Attributes
- Decision Inputs
- Defensibility of decisions, i.e. Good versus Valid decisions
