Lie To Me: Season Two
Season 2 of Lie To Me starts on Tueday October 6 on Channel 10. Lie To Me is back with Dr Cal Lightman and his team of behavioural experts to see who is lying. While Lie To Me is a TV show there is substantial scientific evidence to support the techniques practiced. The shows consultant, Dr Paul Ekman, is recognised as a world leader in the research of micro-expressions and emotions and is considered one of the 100 most eminent psychologists of the twentieth century as well as being named in Time magazines top 100 most influential people for 2009.
Canberra training company New Intelligence has been providing Reading People and Role of Emotion training as seen on Lie To Me to Australia's mission critical public sector and larger corporate entities.
New Intelligence trainers Steve Longford and Anthony McLean trained with the Paul Ekman Group a number of years ago to become the exclusive licensees of the training in Australia and New Zealand.
New Intelligence, under the guidance of Managing Director, Steve Longford, himself a former Criminal Profiler and Officer in Charge of the Queensland Police Service Violent Crime Analysis Unit, teach micro-expressions in their Role of Emotion program.
