New Intelligence at AIPIO Intelligence 2008

New Intelligence launched its product range recently at the Australian Institute of Professional Intelligence Officers (AIPIO)  Annual Conference “Intelligence 2008 - Improving Intelligence Tradecraft”.  New Intelligence provided two workshops during the conference commencing with a 4 hour Micro-expressions seminar facilitated by Executive Director Anthony McLean.  The second workshop was delivered as part of the conference featuring the Human Skill of Decision Making and was faciltated by Managing Director Steve Longford.

 New Intelligence was asked to provide the Micro-expressions workshop at AIPIO as a way of introducing delegates to an intelligence tool that is used globally due to the universality of the 7 basic emotions. New Intelligence is the exclusive Australian provider of the Micro-Expressions Training Tool (METT) and Subtle-Expressions Training Tool (SETT) developed by the US based Paul Ekman Group.  All trainers were accredited in the newly updated training package earier this year by Professor David Matsumoto, Professor of Psychology, San Francisco State University and Executive Vice President of the Paul Ekman Group.

At the conference Anthony highlighted "Some people may have seen the old METT, but the new and improved METT has 84 different facial images, and now has many more ethnic groups represented as well a great gender balance upon which to learn and practice".
