Dr Cialdini comes to Australia

New Intelligence has launched into 2009 with an exciting new product.  Executive Director, Anthony McLean, has just returned from Phoenix Arizona where he successfully gained accreditation in the Principles of Persuasion Workshop.

The Principles of Persuasion Workshop was created by Dr Robert Cialdini, who in the field of influence and persuasion is the most cited living social psychologist in the world today.  Dr Cialdini is the author of Influence: Science and Practice, YES! 50 Scientifically Proven Ways to Be Persuasive, and Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion as well as hundred of articles, research papers and videos.

To ensure the integrity of Dr Cialdini’s work is maintained, Anthony was required to gain pre-selection through an internationally competitive application process just to attend the Cialdini Method Certified Trainer’s program.  The week long certification process required Anthony to demonstrate expert knowledge and skills needed to present the Principles of Persuasion workshop, by not only presenting multiple sessions to Dr Cialdini and his Director of Training Dr Gregory Neidert, but also to undertake a thorough written examination. 

Anthony was one of six participants in the 2009 CMCT and with his successful completion of the program joins a small international group of trainers drawn from the U.S., Hong Kong, the Netherlands, England, Korea, Canada, Italy, New Zealand, Malaysia and Norway.

Anthony is the only Australian that has completed this intense course and hence becomes the only Australian based trainer officially sanctioned to hold the Cialdini Method Certified Trainer (CMCT) Certification and to teach the Principles of Persuasion on Dr Cialdini’s behalf.

The CMCT certification not only proves Anthony’s expertise in the field of Persuasion and Influence, but he also has the privilege of saying he has been personally trained by Dr. Cialdini, benefiting from his 30 years of research and practice in the field of Influence and Persuasion.
