AnalysisArt and Science of Analysis
Analysis (noun) - the process of deconstructing information into its constituent elements and reconstructing it to draw conclusions or make arguments.
The New Intelligence 5 day Analysis program is designed to engage the participant in thinking, construction and articulation of argumentation. This program is non-software aligned or dependant. The course takes participants back to the grass roots of Analysis, that of the human mind, and the tools taught will augment the use of third party tools, applications and databases.
This program is designed to challenge participants and while not limited does include:
· Making predictive intelligence assessments and identifying future implications of current activity
· An awareness of cognitive limitations and biases
· Critically assess and prioritise analytical outcomes
· Constructing supported and defensible arguments based on key intelligence
· Articulating and communicating clear, concise and relevant assessments
It is also important for participants to have an understanding of what sort of tool is best used in any given situation. Some of the tools utilised during the program are:
This program has been rigorously tested and applied in Australia’s mission critical agencies but is available for any organisation where thinking, argumentation and prediction is required.
