60 Minutes - Unmasking the Truth
On Sunday night, 9 August, 60 Minutes (Australia) and reporter Liz Hayes provided many Australians with an introduction to the concept of MicroExpressions and Profiling.
Whilst some of the tools may be new to the public, Canberra training company New Intelligence has been providing Reading People and Role of Emotion training as seen on Sixty Minutes and Channel 10's "Lie to Me" to Australia's mission critical public sector and larger corporate entities.
New Intelligence trainers Steve Longford and Anthony McLean trained with the Paul Ekman Group a number of years ago to become the exclusive licensees of the training in Australia and New Zealand.
New Intelligence have brought "Hard Science to Human Skills" teaching MicroExpressions in their Role of Emotion program. Under the guidance of Managing Director, Steve Longford, himself a former Criminal Profiler and Officer in Charge of the Queensland Police Service Violent Crime Analysis Unit, New Intelligence have taken the concepts shown on Sixty Minutes and Channel 10's "Lie to Me" and brought them to operational reality.
